As an Investment Analyst or Investment Associate, you will become part of our highly dynamic and entrepreneurial transaction team with extensive transaction and management experience. Your Responsibilities
Your tasks will include in particular:
- Supporting the identification of potential investment opportunities

- Conducting commercial and financial due diligence
- Assisting in the structuring of acquisitions and add-on transactions

Experience and Qualifications
Ideally, you bring one of the following profiles:
- A completed degree from a renowned university with excellent academic performance
- 1–4 years of relevant professional experience through internships and/or full-time roles at a leading strategy consultancy, investment bank (M&A, Corporate Finance, Leveraged Finance), and/or a private equity firm
- Relevant experience in M&A transactions and due diligence processes
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
- High affinity for the SME sector with a pronounced hands-on mentality
- Interest in operational and strategic value creation levers
- Confident demeanor and excellent communication skills

As an intern, you will be a fully integrated member of Orlando’s Transaction Team and support our investment professionals in evaluating investment opportunities as well as in conducting due diligence and investment processes. Your Responsibilities
Your tasks will include in particular:
- Identifying and evaluating investment opportunities as well as preparing for and participating in management meetings

Experience and Qualifications
You have completed your studies or will complete them shortly at a renowned university (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Economics), possess solid knowledge of accounting and company valuation, and demonstrate a strong affinity for private equity and the SME sector. In addition, you bring the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (at least 5th semester) or Master’s studies with excellent academic performance
- Initial internship experience in private equity, investment banking, M&A, or strategy consulting
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Position
Orlando Capital offers a Private Equity internship within one of its portfolio companies, with direct involvement in operational value creation and transformation initiatives. You will work closely with the management team of the portfolio company as well as former consultants from BCG, Bain, and McKinsey.
Focus: Value creation, execution, impact.Your Responsibilities
- Contributing to strategic and operational value-creation programs within the portfolio company
- Independently analyzing business challenges and deriving actionable initiatives
- Executing own projects with end-to-end responsibility
- Identifying and implementing quick wins to improve profitability and cash flow
- Developing business cases for strategic decisions (e.g., make-or-buy, insourcing/outsourcing)
- Preparing presentations for management and shareholders
Experience and Qualifications
- Enrolled students from the 4th semester of a Bachelor’s degree onwards, ideally at Master’s level
- Excellent academic performance
- Background in Business, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Finance
