As an intern, you will be a fully integrated member of Orlando’s Transaction Team and support our investment professionals in evaluating investment opportunities as well as in conducting due diligence and investment processes. You will benefit from close collaboration with our investment professionals, who will support you in continuously developing your analytical skills and personal competencies.

Your Responsibilities

Your tasks will include in particular:

• Identifying and evaluating investment opportunities as well as preparing for and participating in management meetings
• Supporting the execution of commercial and financial due diligence to identify potential value creation measures
• Building financial models and assisting in the structuring of acquisitions
• Supporting portfolio development (including the design of value creation initiatives, execution of selected finance-related projects, and identification of potential add-on acquisitions)
• Preparing and supporting exit processes for portfolio companies

Experience and Qualifications

You have completed your studies or will complete them shortly at a renowned university (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Economics), possess solid knowledge of accounting and company valuation, and demonstrate a strong affinity for private equity and the SME sector. In addition, you bring the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (at least 5th semester) or Master’s studies with excellent academic performance
• Initial internship experience in private equity, investment banking, M&A, or strategy consulting
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• High level of self-motivation, commitment, and entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong communication skills and team spirit
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
