Munich / Moosthenning, 29th October 2025 – Orlando Capital V successfully supported the Brunner family with the succession of the traditional fashion (“Trachten”) manufacturer Stockerpoint. With the acquisition of the Stockerpoint brand from founder Gerd Brunner, Orlando Capital V accompanies the generational transition and actively supports his son Rudi Brunner, who remains a significant shareholder, in continuing and further developing the company.

Stockerpoint, headquartered in Ottering (Bavaria), is one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality traditional fashion (“Trachten”) in the German-speaking region. The company’s headquarters will remain at the “Trachtenzentrum Stockerpoint” in Ottering. In the last fiscal year, the company achieved sales of approximately €30 million. Founded more than 40 years ago by Gerd Brunner, Stockerpoint has developed into one of the leading providers in its niche and is today regarded as the value-for-money leader in the mid- to premium-price segment. The product portfolio includes traditional fashion (“Trachten”) for women, men, and children, marketed under well-established brands such as Heimatgwand, Bergfeuer, Wiesnwuid, Stockerpoint Classics, Diamond en Vogue, and Gastrotex.

A significant share of revenue comes from long-standing wholesale relationships worldwide, while the e-commerce business, driven by leading online platforms and the company’s own webshop, has experienced dynamic growth in recent years.

With the support of Orlando Capital, Rudi Brunner secures the entrepreneurial influence of the family and plans to further develop Stockerpoint, while Gerd Brunner continues to support the company as an advisor. The growth strategy is supported by positive long-term market trends, such as the increasing international popularity of high-quality traditional fashion (“Trachten”).

Comment from Gerd Brunner: “After more than 40 years of building and shaping Stockerpoint, I am particularly pleased to hand over the company to the trusted hands of my son Rudi and Orlando Capital. I am confident that Stockerpoint will continue to grow on this strong foundation and successfully carry its traditions into the future.”

Comment from Rudi Brunner: “I am very pleased to continue my father’s legacy and, together with Orlando Capital, to carry forward Stockerpoint’s success story. We will remain true to our values and traditions while expanding the company with a forward-looking approach.”

Georg Madersbacher, Partner at Orlando Capital, commented: “Stockerpoint is an exceptionally well-positioned company that combines traditional values with modern brand management and efficient organization. We are delighted to continue the impressive entrepreneurial legacy of Gerd Brunner together with his son, Rudi Brunner, both strategically and operationally, as the company pursues its growth path.”
